Meeting Helsinki

 

The third meeting of the steering committee was held in Helsinki, Finland, June 14-16, 2007. The indicators were examined in depth, and two new indicators were proposed, while changes were made to others. The data collection was reviewed, as well as how the partners should send their data to Iceland. The website and the dissemination of the results wre also considered. Finally, the final conference and final report were discussed.

A national seminar was held where speakers from Bulgaria, Greece and Norway discussed gender equality and the balancing of  work and family life in their countries. Also, a representative from Iceland introduced the Tea for two project to an audience of nearly 30 Finnish politicians and officials from the local level.
